Yes Nora, absolutely!
I feel somewhat fascinated by stairs & steps and found a guilty pleasure in making them the most impracticable possible.
BTW I like your semantic mix (on purpose ?) as I suppose you refer to

"Nude Descending a Staircase" from Marcel Duchamp esp. as "descending" can mean to shoot (to death).
