About .dat saved file format i've opened it without any problem with Gom Player (a Japanese & free media player) > http://www.gomlab.com/eng/
I tried with VLC (video Lan C) and it worked as well > http://www.videolan.org/
And this "DD News GS" file shows an excerpt (37 sec) of the Indian news speaking about GS and Mr. Parekh. Hope this helps.
Cheers
I thought that description and outline for the seminar in Mumbi by B.K Parekh was brilliant. It would not especially surprise me if GS took fire in India in a way it has not done in this country. I have a sense that people there are hungrier and more ready for these liberating ideas.
How wonderful that you were able to be a part of planting these seeds.
Hi Andrea,
I had Alverno send a letter to the young women who replied to my question, "Would having had GS prior to college been a benefit?" Thus far Shana Trace has replied to my letter asking what they thought of Cognitive Evaluation and Communication.
Shana would like to get in touch with you. She is still using what she learned. Can you send me your email address or is it still thru igs? I will pass it on.
Frank
PS have you had a chance to look at our website? I am still trying to get the semi final touches on.
Andrea, you must be well acquainted with Hellen Highwater after all you've been through these last few years. But my congratulations must come before my commisserations. Really!
Please don't consider any time wasted, because we all have learned. I realize that I was the first, perhaps, to "pull out." but that was because, with other interests, I wasn't really contributing enough ( and perhaps others should have felt the same way). And now Nora! She's the winner; I hope she will continue to contribute.
Andrea, I do have othet interests, and perhaps there are other web exchanges I would like to spend time on more than this one. But here is an idea: we have a "Round Robin" about why we jumped skip, concerning both the formulational and historical/functional aspects. I would be glad (wish that were "reluclant") to go first.
At any rate, please get word to Nora. Just from an outsider looking in, she's the candle just been blown out.
I don't know how to open a DAT file. What's inside, a video? or some other medium? Keep trying -- I'm learning too. It's kind of fun.
Maybe Steve can help -- he's very knowledgeable. This NIng blog rocks!!

I have left a Forum question about Cognitive Education and Communication for K-12. Your comments would be most valuable.
