Just want to update friends, it's been an extraordinarily busy year, and I know I've been absent from this circle. I'm hoping that will change now that I've found new employment. I am Curriculum Coordinator for Maine Regional School Unit 16, which comprises Mechanic Falls, Minot, and Poland, ME. This is a great move and just the sort of thing I've been hoping for as I moved through my degree program and my autodiadactic GS studies.

I have an e-mail exchange I wish to share with you, but do not appear to have a handy address for such. It has to do with the philosophy of education and a connection I think may interest you. But doesn't need to take up space here.
My address is loels@pacbell.net
Hey, Our ning-thing could be called "beyond etc", the Ning-stitute of GS, Inside the Outsiders, .....

I just listened to some of your tasty tunes and I'd call you an 'Insane' Accordianist. In other words, good stuff.
As for what happened 'on the inside' which I followed closely, the situation seems generally described in Psalm 82, i.e., an assembly of judges who 'do not know nor do they understand, in darkness they walk and all the foundations of the earth collapse.'
BTW, when somebody explains to me how to upload my picture, which I failed to do when I signed on to this crew, you'll see that I don't have three heads.

Just call me the Unsane Accordionist.
Thanks, both of you, for the welcome. I'm really glad to see that Steve has set this site up. I also have to say that I'm feeling a little heartbroken about what's happening "on the inside." It's like having been welcomed into a family that's then rent by divorce. Also, given the triumphs of the past few years -- that's how I abstract the building of Read House and the trip to India, among other things -- the current dysfunction seems especially like a travesty.
Welcome to ThisisnotThat.

David
